Legado Mitico is a quaint 4-star hotel located in the city’s Palermo Viejo district, and it’s designed in such a way so as to honor some of the classical fabled figures from Argentina’s history and mythology. Even though this hotel is located on a quiet street, it’s within a short stroll away from the prime thriving streets of the city where you can find a series of hip restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. This is definitely one of the most contemporary areas in Buenos Aires and as such everything you see here will be quite modern. Some of the popular attractions in close vicinity are Palermo ‘Soho' and Palermo ‘Hollywood’, both of them within a 15-minute walk from the hotel. If you’d like to explore some of the old monuments and attractions in the historic district, you can either take a private cab or take the metro (called “subte”), and that will take about 15 minutes. This hotel has been established over what used to be a three-story townhouse. However, it has now been refurbished, and it resembles the look of a private palatial mansion. The interiors of the hotel are considerably antique in style with old bookcases, antique furniture, and period paintings. The ivy-walled patio located on the ground floor is an aesthetic highlight. The hotel is certainly a bit lacking in features, however, it has a nice bar, and it offers laundry service and room service as well. You can also explore the hotel’s library which is replete with volumes on Argentine history and culture. There are only 11 rooms in the hotel, and all of them are themed around famous Argentinian icons such as the tango singer Carlos Cardel or the famous writer Jorge Luis Borges. The rooms in the hotel also bear quite an antique outlook as they’re filled with local memorabilia. The bathrooms are stone-walled and they feature rain showers. Some of the advanced rooms also come with a whirlpool bathtub, and the 'El Idealista’ room also has a private terrace.
